- Food Preparation and Cooking: Assist in preparing dishes, sauces, and menu items, ensuring consistency and quality interviewguy.
- Supervision and Training: Oversee line cooks and kitchen staff, assign tasks, and provide coaching to improve performance and morale
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new recipes, daily specials, and menu updates Indeed+1.
- Kitchen Management: Monitor inventory, order supplies, manage food costs, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients interviewguy.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations Vocational Training
- Leadership Duties: Stand in for the Head Chef when necessary, make decisions, and manage kitchen operations independently
