Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist consultants in ultrasound-guided procedures and interventions.
• Ensure prompt and courteous service delivery to patients and other stakeholders.
• Maintain efficient patient turnaround to minimize waiting times.
• Oversee the daily operations of the ultrasound section, ensuring equipment is used appropriately and maintained in good working condition.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to infection control and workplace safety protocols.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly calibrated and cleaned as per safety standards.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance programmes in the ultrasound section.
• Identify and lead system improvements to enhance service quality and workflow.
• Provide support and training for junior team members, when required.
• Participate in department audits and reviews to uphold standards of care and service delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or MBBS (or equivalent).
• Accredited qualifications in Medical Ultrasonography (e.g., DMU, Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on clinical experience i ultrasound imaging.
• Compassionate with excellent patient care service.
• Customer service oriented with strong leadership qualities.
