Project Management Manager is a critical on-the-ground role responsible for the execution, scaling, and quality control of solar projects in Singapore. This role requires a hands-on solar construction professional with proven experience managing projects at a solar company in Singapore.

A core responsibility of this role is to train, manage, and scale Solar installation teams while also developing and onboarding new installation teams to support business growth. This is an execution-first role for a strong site operator who can lead teams, enforce standards, and solve problems in real time.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Execution

• Lead day-to-day execution of solar installation projects across multiple sites in Singapore

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to required quality standards

• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on-site execution issues promptly

Team Training & Team Building

• Train partner installation teams on construction methods, quality standards, safety, and productivity

• Build, onboard, and operationalise new installation teams as project volume scales

• Standardise site practices and drive consistent workmanship across all teams

Partner & Team Management

• Manage and coordinate at least 4 installation teams concurrently

• Hold installation partners accountable for performance, safety, and delivery

• Act as the primary on-site escalation point for execution and manpower issues

Commercial & Partner Engagement

• Negotiate scopes, rates, variations, and site changes with installation partners

• Manage partner relationships pragmatically to balance cost, quality, and speed

• Support operational cost control through effective team and partner management

Quality, Safety & Commissioning

• Enforce site safety practices and compliance with local regulations

• Ensure quality checks throughout installation and readiness for testing and commissioning

• Support project close-out, handover, and commissioning readiness

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building / Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or equivalent

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on solar project execution experience in Singapore with a solar EPC or solar company

• Proven experience managing multiple solar projects and at least 4 installation teams simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to train current and build new installation teams

• Strong knowledge of solar construction, site safety, quality control, and commissioning processes

• Experience negotiating commercially with subcontractors and installation partners

• Relevant MOM / BCA-recognised site safety certifications are mandatory
