Contract: 1 year (Renewable basis)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems to support content analysis, cataloguing, search, and retrieval workflows.
• Develop and optimise APIs to integrate AI models and processing pipelines (e.g., computer vision and audio analysis) into the platform architecture.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including data modelling, query optimisation, and schema management.
• Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Apply full-stack engineering best practices to ensure system performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design end-to-end solutions, implement features, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience in backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python frameworks) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Strong experience designing and managing relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of secure API design, authentication mechanisms, and handling sensitive data in web applications.
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning model integration into production systems is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of multimodal media processing (e.g., audio, video, image analysis) is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in fast-moving development environments.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools or agentic development tools for rapid prototyping is advantageous.
