Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software / Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Precisely (Pitney Bowes) DOC1, EngageOne Vault, SQL, Linux scripting, and Java. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good communication abilities, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing customer communication solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Support and maintain Precisely DOC1 applications for document generation and customer communications
● Work with EngageOne Vault for document archiving, retrieval, and troubleshooting
● Analyze and resolve production and UAT issues using SQL queries and Linux shell scripting
● Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using relational databases
● Assist in deployment, batch monitoring, and job execution on Linux environments
● Debug and support Java-based components where required
● Coordinate with business users, testers, andupstream/downstream teams
● Document issues, solutions, and operational procedures clearly
● Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 2–5 years of hands-on experience in:
o Precisely / Pitney Bowes DOC1
o EngageOne Vault
o SQL (queries, joins, data analysis)
o Linux/Unix scripting
o Java (basic to intermediate understanding)
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Good verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
● Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Good to Have
● Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments
● Exposure to batch processing tools (e.g. Control-M)
● Understanding of CCM (Customer Communication Management) platforms
● Experience in production support or application support roles
