Pay: Up to $3,000

Work hours: Monday – Friday, office hours

Job Scope

• Provide support on the administrative and operational running of the department, including managing the counter and related duties
• Direct work with patients and families including intake interviews and providing necessary assistance and assisting with referrals to facilitate discharge planning
• Support Medical Social Workers in case management through translation assistance and is providing patient escort and home visit support
• Participate in work process improvements and quality improvement projects
• Work with other departments within the hospital and with external organizations to facilitate patient care and experience
• Supporting the department in programmes and projects

 Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Social Work.
