Job Summary

Support inpatient operations by conducting social and financial assessments, facilitating patient admissions and transfers, and coordinating care services to ensure smooth patient transitions and optimal bed utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct social and financial assessments for inpatient referrals
• Provide financial counselling to patients and their families
• Prepare assessment recommendations to support patient care planning
• Support bed allocation and bed management activities
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient admissions and transfers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Support departmental projects and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Psychology / Social Service or related discipline
• Experience in healthcare, social services, psychology, case management, or related fields is advantageous
