Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and creative Social Media Operations Intern to take ownership of content ideation, execution, and daily operations across multiple digital platforms, including TikTok, RED (Xiaohongshu),YouTube, and other relevant social or content platforms.
This internship offers hands-on, execution-focused experience in content strategy, social media operations, and data-driven growth. Interns are expected to proactively generate ideas, execute content independently, and optimize performance under guidance from the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
- Independently propose and execute content ideas,including copywriting, visuals, and short-form video concepts aligned with brand positioning.
- Take ownership of assigned content from ideation to publishing, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Actively track platform trends and translate insights into actionable content concepts.
Platform Operations & Growth
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned social media accounts, including content posting, engagement, and basic community management.
· Plan and execute user growth initiatives, such as content series, themed campaigns, or creator collaborations.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor content performance and key metrics (views, engagement, followers).
- Use data insights to optimize future content ideas and formats.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure content supports brand and campaign objectives.
- Coordinate with external creators or partners when needed to execute content initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related fields.
- Strong interest in social media platforms and digital content operations.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Tiktok, RED (Xiaohongshu), Youtube, Instagram, or TikTok is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Good written & communication skills in English
- Potential for conversion to full-time role based on performance
Technical & Creative Skills (Nice to Have)
- Basic graphic or video editing skills (e.g. Photoshop,CapCut, Canva).
- Interest or exposure to short-form video creation or livestream content.
