Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support our growing portfolio of trading card, collectibles, esports, and community events. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about content creation, social media trends, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Assist in planning and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and other platforms
• Monitor social media channels and respond to community enquiries
• Track content performance and provide regular reporting insights

Content Creation

• Create engaging social media posts, captions, and short-form content
• Assist in photography and videography during events and activations
• Edit photos, videos, and graphics for marketing campaigns
• Develop content ideas that align with current trends and audience interests

Event Marketing

• Support marketing efforts for trading card shows, esports tournaments, and community events
• Create promotional materials and event announcements
• Assist in managing event registrations and attendee engagement campaigns
• Conduct on-site social media coverage during events

Community Engagement

• Engage with collectors, gamers, vendors, and community members online
• Assist in growing and managing community groups and channels
• Support influencer, creator, and partner collaborations

Administrative Support

• Assist with marketing research and competitor analysis
• Maintain content calendars and marketing assets
• Support the team with day-to-day marketing operations

Requirements

• Passion for social media, gaming, trading cards, collectibles, or pop culture
• Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn
• Able to work weekends during events when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing personal or community social media accounts
• Photography, videography, or graphic design skills
• Knowledge of Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, esports, or related hobby communities
