Job Descriptions

• Understand the drawings and job specifications.
• Assist in the preparation, reviewing and signing off method statements, ITP (inspection and test plan) documents, material approvals, job hazard analysis (JHA), risk assessment on the assigned tasks and seek approval from Supervisor.
• Assist to Plan and order for equipment and material required on the tasks.
• To produce logistic drawings and on-site coordination.
• Lead the DABs and Engineers / Supervisors briefing.
• Any ad-hoc duties due to project needs.
• Monitor progress against the program milestones for on-time completion; Monitor production rate and consumption of materials and provide feedback to supervisor on resource allocation.
• Assist, check workmanship and quality against specifications in drawings and ITP requirements; Perform other quality tests as required.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and tracking of costs, e.g. assigning of cost codes, activity records, QA documentation, etc
• Implement Zero Defects quality initiatives.
• Planning daily work schedules and coordinating workers on site.
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and providing guidance to construction workers and subcontractors.
• Documenting and reporting progress to stakeholders and adhering to compliance regulations.
• Ensuring Site diary is kept up to date.
• To identify problems and offer solutions prior to and during construction.
• Produce short term programs.
• To active promote interior philosophy and culture of the Project.
• To produce precise and succinct project reports.
• To develop computer skills.
• To apply best construction practices thoroughly.
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties based on project needs.
• Understand the HSE requirements based on LCAL internal framework, local regulations and contractual obligations.
• Communicate the same to subordinates, subcontractors and monitor compliance on an on-going basis.
• Report non-compliance issues to the Supervisor and take corrective action as directed.
• Stop any unsafe acts / actions, and do not walk by.
• Participate in safety walks with the team, as scheduled.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of Civil and Structural engineering and design.
• Knowledge of Safety norms (internal to LCAL as well as regulatory requirements)
• Knowledge of Quality norms (internal to LCAL as well as regulatory requirements)
• Total Relevant Experience: 8 - 15 years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Salary Range: $4500 - $5500 (Based on Experience)
