Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and review pre-contract documents.
• Identify specified or equivalent materials required for the project.
• Review and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Check material availability and delivery timelines.
• Source and compare quotations, and assist in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Reconcile contract quantities with subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Monitor and price variation works (VO).
• Prepare progress valuations and review subcontractor progress claims.
• Review site instructions and advise the Project Manager on cost and time implications.
• Monitor project expenses and financial status.
• Guide site staff on proper documentation of site instructions.
• Assist in the preparation and closure of final accounts.
