Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
  • Monitor site progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate and manage manpower deployment, material planning, ordering, and delivery to support smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant authority requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports for internal management, clients, and consultants, highlighting project milestones, achievements, and key challenges.
  • Compile weekly site progress reports and prepare necessary project submissions in a timely manner.
  • Attend site meetings, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and overall site management to achieve project objectives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing projects of similar scale, nature, and complexity, particularly in building works.
  • Prior hands-on experience in construction site supervision and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and quality control procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and project delivery.
