Job Summary

Join ESK Engineering as a Site Engineer to lead reinforced concrete site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with stakeholders and preparing essential project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily reinforced concrete (RC) structural site activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans
• Monitor work progress against drawings, specifications, and project schedules to maintain quality and timely completion
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site workers to resolve issues and align project objectives
• Enforce workplace safety and quality standards on site to minimize risks and ensure compliance
• Prepare detailed site reports and maintain accurate project documentation for tracking and communication
• Develop bar bending schedules to support structural reinforcement planning and execution.
• Inspect formwork, reinforcement, concreting, and other RC works to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports, progress reports, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure sufficient resources are available for site operations.
• Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or potential issues before work commences.
• Assist in planning work sequences to improve productivity and meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Verify completed work for quality before submission for inspection.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in reinforced concrete (RC) construction
• Effective communication and coordination skills to facilitate teamwork and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
