JOB DESCRIPTION :

Detail study of specifications & drawings

• Prepare & coordinate inspections prior to casting of any structure elements or installation of Architectural items
• Highlight and present discrepancies of Architectural, and Structural drawings to Consultants & Project Manager / Site Manager
• To advise site supervisors on findings and comments as instructed by RE or RTO on site
• To advise and discuss any items / issues arising with sub-subcontractors on drawings discrepancies to work methodology
• To check and inspect all installed items, Structural or Architectural, prior to the request of RE / RTO site inspection to cast or proceed with installation
• To collate all reports and inspection forms carried out on site that are necessary for installation and documentation
• To assist supervisors and/or sub-contractors in the formation of levels, settle site discrepancy, site constraints that is within the capacity of an Engineer
• Assist to oversee the working methods in accordance to the safety requirements with advise by WSHO when in doubt
• To attend meetings held to resolve discrepancies and site issues arising on Structural or Architectural items/elements
• assist quantity take off of steel and form work during tender stage and final measurement at project completion

JOB REQUIREMENT :

• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent accredited by Professional Engineer Board.
• At least 2 years working experience in established Building Construction Company, preferably in projects involving school, institutions and nursing homes construction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability to handle with clients and co-ordinate works.
• Initiative, willingness to learn and able to multi-task.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcomed to apply as training will be provided.
