TNG Alliance Pte Ltd is founded in 2019 by 2 engineers, Tan & Goh, with extensive knowledge of home appliances and a mission to be a leading provider of home appliances. Today, TNG Alliance grows to a team of 17 dedicated staff to offer comprehensive, professional and affordable aftersales services and appliances. In 2020, co-founder Goh Ching Leng is awarded “Singapore Entrepreneur 100 award 2020” by Association of Trade and Commerce (Singapore). Looking ahead, the company will continue to deliver quality home appliances and service to Singapore and overseas with its partners. TNG Alliance is the authorized service centre for Whirlpool, Ariston, KitchenAid, Sharp and Fujioh home appliances in Singapore. We offer onsite and walk-in repairs as well as delivery service for businesses and consumers. In our goal to provide state-of-the-art products at affordable price, TNG Alliance has launched its own line of home appliances under “TNG” certified with Singapore Safety Mark. The first product launch in 2020 is the Chest Freezer Matte Black Series followed by the Bar fridge. More TNG product launches will follow in the next few years.

Job Summary

You will perform accurate diagnoses, repairs, and preventive maintenance of home appliances at customer locations across Singapore. You will communicate repair needs clearly to customers, provide service reports and estimates, and participate in technical training to enhance your skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair home appliances at customer homes and offices following company procedures and using appropriate tools and test equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal functioning and customer satisfaction
• Communicate repair diagnoses and necessary services to customers in a clear and courteous manner
• Prepare detailed service reports and provide accurate repair cost estimates for customer quotations
• Assist in new projects and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
• Attend in-house technical training sessions to develop and improve appliance repair skills

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License with more than 2 years of driving experience
• Demonstrate physical fitness and strength to move and carry appliances occasionally as part of job duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma, Higher Nitec, or Nitec in an engineering-related field preferred
• New graduates with interest in home appliance maintenance are encouraged to apply
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively
• Basic knowledge of home appliance operation and electrical repair (training provided)
