Job Duties
• Implementing the Safety Management System and to ensure compliance by the site personnel as well as the various trades from sub-contractors.

• Responsible for project EHS management planning and derivation of programmes to continually improve EHS performance.

• Assist the projects to derive, identify and develop practices to incorporate to the organizational Safe Work Procedure.

• Advise project management on matters pertaining to EHS.

• To recommend to the project personnel the various training required for the personnel to be equipped with the knowledge’s, skills to enable them to perform their duties in a safe manner. Beside recommendation, also to assist, analyze and develop the various training needs for the workers.

• To assist the ESH department to identify, record, investigate and analysis any incident which resulted in injury, near misses or dangerous occurrence to prevent recurrence and to provide advised on the remedial measures.

• To assist the organizational requirements to maintain records of safety promotion and to promote safety awareness to all personnel attached to the worksite.

• Organize EHS programs and activities to promote safe and healthy conduct of workers.

• Assist the safety department to record, maintain, documented procedure, plan, motivate, lead and conduct site inspection to ensure compliance to legal legislations and organizational requirements.

• Assist the sub-contractors to establish risk assessment by identifying hazards and to recommend control measures to minimize the risks at project site.

• To establish an emergency response plan for the project site to ensure effective evacuation of personnel to the assembly area if an emergency occurred.

• Report and liaise with the management, relevant authorities on incident occurrence.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Senior WSH Manager with MOM with at least 10 years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works in the contract.

• Experienced in managing large scale construction projects

• Possess knowledge and experience in related construction industry.

• Aptitude for data evaluation and strong analytical skills.
