Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Attending requirement gathering sessions, and actively participate in BRD reviews.
• Perform impact analysis on the existing system functionalities with respect to the new proposed changes.
• Guide, mentor and oversee technical developers across Singapore & Malaysia to ensure delivery is as per functional / technical specifications.
• Work with System Analysts (SA) and Finance & Risk users on the requirements / clarifications
• Help SA with preparation of FS documents and walkthrough the functional specifications with requestors
• Prepare the Technical Specification documents
• Accountable for SIT/UAT testing across multiple regulatory projects and BAU changes.
• Implementation plans/ production release and post-release support
• Closely liaise with the business partners and vendors for any changes that is being raised in the regulatory risk domain for reporting purposes.

Key Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• At least 6 years’ relevant experience with leading technical development teams in implementation of Regulatory Reporting projects in Risk domain (Basel - credit risk or market risk).
• Must have worked in a financial institution with good understanding of financial & accounting concepts.

Essential:

• Proficiency with Moody’s RiskAuthority/Fermat is a must.
• Strong hand one experience with Oracle 12 / 19c (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL), Unix Shell Scripting (AIX/SUN/Intel Xeon Linux), Control-M job scheduling tool and OBIEE.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as GIT (version control), Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD (automation pipelines).
• Experience in automating deployment of regulatory reporting applications and scripts.
• Data Analytical skills; preferred experience in developing ETL layer
• Good to have experience in Change Control Management tools & Visio
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and demonstrate full ownership of end-to-end deliverables.
• Have good communication skills (to work with various levels)
• Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

Technical Skills:

• Oracle 12 / 19c (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL)
• Unix shell scripting
• Moody’s RAY knowledge.
