CANDIDATE MUST BE A GOC CERTIFICATE HOLDER AND TRAINED FOR JRC EQUIPMENT. HE SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HMI AND PCB DESIGNING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING

Maritime navigation system.

• Radio survey of GMDSS equipment. Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in Marine navigation system such as Marine Radar, Gyro compass, Magnetic compass, autopilot, echo sounder, speed log, steering – FFU/NFU, weather fax, wind speed/direction etc

Marine Telecommunication Systems

• Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in communication systems such as GMDSS, VHF/UHF, MF/HF SSB, NBDP, NDB, Navtex, Inmarsat, FBB, Local Area networks, email system etc.
• Off-landed repair of faulty equipment in the workshop
• Prepare the service reports after completion of jobs

Requirements

• Formal education in Electrical and/or Electronic equipment.
• Should have GOC for carrying out Radio Survey and should have makers training and aproval for Marine Communication Equipment..
• Trained in Good communication and writing skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and an aptitude for detail
• Good team player who is able to work with other team members
• Have an analytical and open mind, and be self-driven

Ability to travel for overseas jobs and trainings
