Responsibilities:

• Patrol lobby, guest room corridors, back of house areas, public areas and surroundings to detect any suspicious personnel. Keep an eye on any unattended luggage or belongings.
• Conduct investigations and keep hotel Management informed regarding accidents such losses, theft etc.
• Accompany the Duty Manager whilst investigating irregularities in guest rooms and public areas when required.
• Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
• Record details of significant incidents and activities that may occur during the shift
• Coordinate investigations with the Police regarding crimes, accidents involving hotel guests and ambassadors
• Ensure Security Checkpoint/Office is manned, clean and tidy at all times.

Key Job Requirements

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Security related certification required
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
