Position Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and managing customers in semiconductor, optical, medical and precision manufacturing industries by providing technical and commercial solutions based on the company’s machining, ultra-precision, and moulding capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Customer Management

• Develop new customers in semiconductor, optics, medical and high-precision industries
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
• Act as main interface between customers and internal engineering, quality and production teams

2. Technical Sales

• Review customer drawings, specifications, tolerances and materials
• Propose manufacturable solutions using CNC, 5-axis, ultra-precision machining and moulding
• Advise customers on tolerance, surface finish, cost and lead time trade-offs

3.  Quotation & Project Support

• Prepare and follow up on machining and quotations
• Coordinate with engineering, production and supply chain to ensure feasible costing and delivery
• Support sample, FAI, PPAP, and production ramp-up

4. Customer Support & Quality Coordination

• Handle engineering change (ECN), quality issues and customer feedback
• Support customer audits and technical reviews

• High-precision plastic injection moulds

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or related
• Able to read engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications
• Knowledge of CNC, 5-axis machining, EDM, grinding, or injection moulding
• 3–8 years in precision engineering, semiconductor, tooling or machining industry 3–8
• Experience in technical sales, project engineering or application engineering preferred
• Posses strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and customers
