Responsibilities:

• Manage research projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and deliverables are met.
• Lead the development of study protocols and statistical analysis plans.
• Conduct and supervise quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
• Ensure study compliance with ethics requirements and applicable local regulations.
• Prepare scientific manuscripts and support dissemination of research findings.
• Develop proposals and supporting documents for new research grants.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, including systematic reviews.
• Mentor and guide junior research staff.
• Engage healthcare professionals and research collaborators to support study objectives.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical, public health, or health services research.
• Proven leadership and project management experience with a strong research track record.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods; qualitative methods are an added advantage.
• Proficient in statistical or qualitative software (e.g. STATA, SPSS, NVivo).
• Demonstrated scientific writing skills with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to lead research projects end-to-end and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Able to multitask and perform effectively under tight timelines.
