-Prepare monthly progress claims, variationsand finalization of payments for client and for subcontractors, suppliers

-Invitation of quotations, preparing tenderand award documents. Negotiate with subcontractor/suppliers to obtaincompetitive price and terms

-Evaluate and prepare monthly cashflow, budget projection and cost control monitoring sheet

- Assess and prepare variation orders, claims, final account and settlement of subcontractor’s payment differences

-Measurement of quantities and taking off. Preparing Bill of Quantities for project during tender, construction, sourcing, variation and payment verifications.

-Compare drawings to identify differences from contract requirements for claims

-Coordination with other department and liaise with subcontractors and clients

-Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Requirements

-Degree/Diploma in Building/Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying

- High proficiency in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities

-Minimum 3 years of experience with a quantity surveying firm; or main contractor for civil/building works in Singapore

-Experience with civil infrastructure/MRT projects

-Able to work under pressure, and multitask

-Responsible, high initiative, resourceful and meticulous

-Good in negotiation
