PCN Consultant (12 months Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain PCN and OT systems, including servers, workstations, virtualised and hyper‑converged platforms, to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform daily system health checks, log reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and regular patching of PCN and DMZ environments.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity, access control, backup, recovery, and information risk compliance in accordance with company standards.
• Support and manage industrial control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, engineering stations, historians/PI servers, and SIS/PCS controllers.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, asset inventories, software licences, and data archival within the PCN and DMZ.
• Support system builds, upgrades, and new projects, and supervise vendor activities to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Process and IT teams on incident resolution, RCFA, asset management improvements, and continuous optimisation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field related to Process Control Networks (PCN), Industrial Automation, or Industrial IT.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience supporting PCN / OT environments in industrial or mission‑critical operations, including production or process facilities.
• Strong expertise in PCN architecture and networking, including segmentation, DMZ design, firewalls, switches, routing, and secure integration between IT and OT networks.
• Advantageous to have prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry and critical infrastructure environment and prior stakeholder management experience
