Job Description:

• Lead and optimize wet lab workflows for advanced genomic services, including sample processing, library preparation, and sequencing validation.
• Troubleshoot and enhance assays using scientific and molecular biology principles, ensuring protocol accuracy and efficiency.
• Apply bioinformatics tools for primary data analysis, including primer/probe design and SNP‑ID.
• Ensure full compliance with quality systems and regulatory standards (e.g., external QC programs).
• Mentor Medical Laboratory Technologists/Scientists in both wet lab and bioinformatics processes.
• Work closely with clinicians and administrative teams to support integrated service delivery and contribute to lab management and strategic planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Job Requirements:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in genetics, genomics, human genetics, or related life sciences.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on wet lab and method verification experience, with strong expertise in molecular biology and NGS.
• Knowledge of ISO15189/CAP quality systems and ability to interpret complex bioinformatics data.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and protocol optimization skills.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight timelines with a proactive attitude.
