Role Summary

Lead mechanical design proposals, costing, and solutions for automatic and semi-automatic assembly, manufacturing, and test systems while driving R&D and innovation in new technologies for semiconductor automation.

Key Duties

• Handle complex inquiries with Advanced Packaging & Precision Machine Design expertise, conduct cycle time studies and prepare detailed proposals with accurate costing
• Deliver precise 3D/2D designs and BOMs within scope, budget, and schedule, collaborate with Electrical & Software Engineers for seamless integration
• Lead Proof of Concept initiatives with teams/vendors, explore new technologies to enhance automation systems, conduct design reviews and ensure safety compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering with minimum 5 years specialized experience in custom automation systems
• Proven track record in semiconductor or high-precision manufacturing environments with deep understanding of electromechanical systems in automation
• Advanced MS Office skills with ability to perform Design FMEA, strong mathematical/statistical analysis capabilities, and demonstrated leadership in technical teams with project management experience
