Job Description:
This position requires minimum 10 years of localexperience in same field / sector, with good business knowledge in this sector.
- Combine service drawing knowledge with AutoCAD skills to do presentations to clients
- Familiar with project specifications and technical clarifications and prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
- Prepare Coordinated Services Drawing (CSD), penetration drawing and coordinate with client team, attend progress / site / MEP meeting
- MEP design experiences are must with more client interaction knowledge
- Responsible for project delivery including engineering, schedule, budget, coordination and site supervision
- Supervise the M&E work and coordinate with clients’ representatives, consultants and subcontractors on technical matters
- Ensuring Supervisor & Foreman meets client & regulatory work requirements
- Attend, Conduct and Record the coordination meeting with all M&E with team, client and other trade subcontractors
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants and M&E subcontractors and suppliers on the schedule of work and delivery of materials to meet the project requirements
- Supervise and inspect all M&E work and coordinate with other trades subcontractors
- Coordinate and arrange for testing and commissioning of M&E systems including the handover of all warranties, operating and maintenance manuals etc
- Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
- Ensuring environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all time
- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with building management systems (BMS) / building information modelling (BIM) and controls and their integration with data centre infrastructure
- Extensive experience with large-scale chilled water plants including chillers, chilled water distribution, chilled water-cooling plants and storage systems, cooling towers
- Troubleshooting and repairing of ACMV and its control equipment
- Diagnose and resolves complex technical issues related to Daikin air conditioning systems
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Engineering from recognised local University. (preferably BCA Academy (Singapore))
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the same sector.
- Willing to be posted to oversee projects in countries like India etc
- Proficiency in MS office tools, Microsoft project, Presentation, AutoCAD and/or BIM.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Additionally having local experience in same field / sector, with good business
- Contacts in this sector to develop new business opportunities is a plus
- hands-on experience with mechanical and control systems, including fuel systems, building management systems (BMS) and controls, chilled water-cooling plants
- Hands-on experience in ACMV Chiller System installation, operations, maintenance, and repairs large-scale commercial cooling systems. (Primary focus is to ensure central cooling systems, such as water-cooled or air-cooled chillers, cooling towers, and Air Handling Units (AHUs), run safely, continuously, and at peak energy efficiency)
