• Lead and manage all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site, ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specifications to deliver quality project outcomes

• Conduct periodic inspections of all M&E systems to verify functionality and adherence to project standards
• Plan and oversee M&E works executed by subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines
• Manage procurement processes for equipment and labor within the allocated budget to optimize resource utilization
• Coordinate deployment and storage of M&E materials and equipment delivered by subcontractors to maintain site efficiency
• Prepare detailed method statements, shop drawings, installation and testing & commissioning (T&C) check sheets, and work progress reports in collaboration with the project team to support project documentation and tracking
• Liaise proactively with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate M&E works progress, resolve issues, and facilitate informed decision-making
• Drive the adoption and implementation of innovative M&E initiatives and lean practices on site to enhance productivity and project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing M&E works within a main contractor environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of safety standards and practices in M&E works
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory authorities to ensure compliance
