ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.
• Manage technical coordination between M&E, architectural, and structural disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for M&E systems.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and coordination issues during construction.
• Monitor progress of M&E installations including ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and ELV systems.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and system handover to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with Singapore authority regulations, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
• Support the M&E Manager and Project Manager in reporting, project coordination, and site management activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in M&E works for large-scale building construction projects.
• Experience working with a Main Contractor in Singapore is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
• Experience coordinating M&E works with consultants, architects, and structural teams.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and authority requirements.
