About the Role

Our client, a leading global financialinstitution, is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join amission-critical trade processing engineering team. This platform supportshigh-volume, low-latency securities processing and plays a vital role inensuring system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develophigh-performance Java applications.
• Support and optimizelow-latency trading systems.
• Drive platform scalability andresilience initiatives.
• Investigate productionincidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve system performancethrough JVM tuning and optimization.
• Develop automated testing andmonitoring solutions.
• Partner closely with businessand technology stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Java developmentexperience.
• Strong understanding of JVMinternals and performance tuning.
• Experience with multithreadingand concurrency.
• Experience buildingdistributed, event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Kafka, JMS, orsimilar messaging technologies.
• Strong SQL and data analysisskills.
• AWS experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting andproduction support experience.

Good to Have

• Capital markets or securitiestrading experience.
• Trade lifecycle knowledge.
• ·Experience with monitoringplatforms such as Grafana or Prometheus.
• Exposure to platformmodernization initiatives.
