As a Senior IT Engineer , you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the organization’s enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on systems, storage, backup, and disaster recovery operations.

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Administer, configure, and maintain storage environments (SAN / NAS), including provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management
• Manage enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup
• Monitor backup jobs, investigate and resolve failures, and perform regular restore testing and recovery validation to ensure data integrity
• Support disaster recovery (DR) operations, including replication setup, failover/failback execution, and periodic DR drills/testing
• Ensure adherence to defined RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective) targets, as well as data protection and compliance standards
• Perform proactive infrastructure monitoring, system health checks, patch management, and preventive maintenance activities
• Participate in incident management, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure timely resolution with minimal business impact
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external clients for support, escalation handling, and project implementation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, operational runbooks, backup reports, and infrastructure records
• Support infrastructure optimization initiatives, including performance improvements, automation opportunities, and capacity planning
• Provide escalation support for complex technical issues beyond L2/L3 operational teams (Senior Engineer responsibility layer)
