Job Description
The Senior/Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for a portfolio of entities including statutory compliance, financial reporting, and consolidation of overseas entities. This role manages a team of 4 (3 Accountants and 1 Accounts Payable staff) and works closely with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretaries, and internal stakeholders.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, including audit, corporate income tax, GST, and other regulatory filings
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities on all compliance matters
Oversee consolidation of group financial results where applicable
Coordinate with corporate secretaries on statutory filings, board resolutions, and compliance matters
Ensure proper maintenance of corporate records and governance documentation
Treasury & Banking
Manage bank loan matters, including loan drawdowns and repayments, compliance with loan covenants, annual facility reviews, and liaison with financial institutions.
Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and financing arrangements
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, manage, and develop a finance team of four (3 GL Accountants, 1 AP)
Provide clear guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure strong accountability and ownership
Foster a structured and collaborative team environment
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, management, and external parties.
Support management with financial insights and analysis as required
Participate in company's sustainability effort for the environment and being an inclusive employer.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent
Big 4 audit background is preferred but not mandatory
Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing a finance team
Strong experience in Singapore compliance matters, including audit, tax, GST, and statutory reporting.
Experience in consolidations.
Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite is an added advantage
Experience in hospitality sector and investment properties is an added advantage
