Responsible for defined workstreams within a wet process module and deliver experiment execution and analysis with increasing independence. Also contributes to margin improvement and manufacturability readiness through structured DOE/SPC and cross‑functional problem solving.
Main Responsibilities
Process Development & Margin Improvement
Develop and optimize unit wet processes to meet yield and quality requirements of advanced NAND part types.
Quantify benefits of innovative process and/or equipment solutions to enable early experimentation and adoption for process margin improvement.
Initiate and manage experiments to widen process margins and validate manufacturability of next‑node solutions.
Cross‑functional Integration & Troubleshooting
Integrate and troubleshoot processes as part of cross‑functional teams driving yield and quality improvement.
Participate with Boise TD peers on technology choices for upcoming nodes and translate future device needs into clear process requirements.
Identify disruptive processes early and work with manufacturing and TD partners to identify viable paths forward.
Innovation / IP / Supplier Engagement
Support process development activities including fundamental research, hardware evaluations, and testing for novel applications; contribute to IP generation where applicable.
Participate in supplier engagement workstreams supporting breakthrough solutions.
Monitoring, Control & Documentation (Governance)
Identify process simplification opportunities and support cross‑functional implementation.
Incorporate best‑known manufacturing methods into early development of upcoming nodes.
Design and implement process monitoring and control methodologies within assigned scope; maintain clear experiment records and technical reporting.
Communicate and collaborate locally and globally; strict adherence to Micron IP protection policy is required.
Other Responsibilities
Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, and analysis rigor, using sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal/IP requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI‑enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
