Main Responsibilities

• Integration Testing: Setup and implementation of the integration test framework to verify communication between microservices and software elements.
• Unit Testing & Code Quality: Advising engineers on best practices for code structure, such as dependency injection, creating small methods, and general best practices to ensure high-quality, testable code.
• Front-End Testing: Guidance for the testing team on writing stable, non-brittle Playwright tests. This includes implementing consistent practices like using specific data tags/attributes on elements.
• AI Tool Usage: Training engineers on how to use tools like GitHub Copilot effectively to improve the quality of generated code and tests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Playwright (for front-end testing).
• Unit Test Frameworks.
• Mocking Frameworks (Necessary for effective integration testing).
• Microservices in .NET Core hosted in Fargate, using React and Next for the front-end.
• Databases like Dynamo, PostGres, and MSSQL.
• Legacy System: Older .NET with MVC and Blazer pages.
• Git.
