Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Design Manager with a strong background in the design and fabrication of aluminum and glass facade systems. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge of facade systems and will be responsible for leading the design process from concept through fabrication. This includes managing detailed drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with architectural, structural, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the design of aluminum and glass facade systems to meet architectural, performance, and safety requirements.
• Assist the Design Director/Project Team in the development of system designs that comply with project specifications and performance criteria.
• Prepare and review design drawings, construction drawings, and fabrication/shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors during technical design discussions to resolve facade-related issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Oversee and ensure timely delivery of design documentation throughout project life cycles.
• Manage internal design teams and ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and code requirements.
• Stay updated on Singapore building codes, facade industry trends, and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facade design, with a strong portfolio in aluminum and glass systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Solid understanding of Singapore design practices, BCA codes, and industry standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in dealing with clients and consultants.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience working with contractors, façade consultants, and project teams is preferred.
