Job Summary

Our banking client seeks a Credit Analyst to lead corporate credit evaluations, prepare credit proposals, monitor credit portfolios, and support credit risk management to ensure sound lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit evaluations for corporate clients by structuring deals, assessing risks, and performing financial analyses to determine creditworthiness
• Prepare and present detailed credit proposals to internal approval committees to facilitate informed decision-making
• Collaborate closely with front office Relationship Managers to discuss deals and structure credit solutions aligned with client needs and risk policies
• Manage and monitor a corporate credit portfolio through periodic reviews and early identification of potential credit risks to maintain portfolio quality
• Provide actionable recommendations on credit terms, covenants, and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the bank’s interests
• Review credit documentation for accuracy and compliance with approved credit structures to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met
• Support evaluation of new product and business initiatives by assessing associated credit risks and advising on risk management measures

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline with strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit risk assessment within a regional or global financial institution
