Job Summary

You will support the culinary team by preparing food items according to quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe equipment use in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately
• Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including working any day or shift as required
• Focus on completing one task fully before moving to the next to maintain efficiency
• Complete assigned work lists within the set time frames to support kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality by maintaining sanitary conditions and applying "First In First Out" (FIFO) kitchen practices
• Store all food products correctly in designated fridges and containers throughout the shift
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and encourage colleagues to clean their stations after service
• Use kitchen equipment safely and properly, and guide colleagues on correct equipment use

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience
