Application Engineer / Application Manager

About the Company

Our client is a leading US multinational company specializing in advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment and process solutions. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Application Engineer / Application Manager to support customers across the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and application support for ion implantation equipment and related semiconductor processes.

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, process evaluations, and customer training.

• Work closely with Sales teams to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

• Support equipment installation, qualification, process optimization, and performance validation.

• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues, providing both reactive and proactive customer support.

• Assist customers in improving process performance, yield, and productivity.

• Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and product teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Prepare technical reports, application documentation, and customer presentations.

• Perform data analysis and process evaluations to support customer applications and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment applications, process engineering, or field support.

• Knowledge of ion implantation, semiconductor fabrication, wafer processing, or related technologies is highly preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel as required to support customer sites.
