Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Cash Management

• Review and verify disbursements to ensure timely payments while optimizing company cash flow.

• Review and approve employee expense claims in alignment with corporate policies.

Stock & Inventory Management

• Coordinate physical cycle stock counts and investigate variances between system and actual counts.

• Review and recommend adjustments for slow-moving or obsolete stock.

Financial Closing & Reporting

• Work closely with the accountant to review and ensure the accuracy of POC reports, reflecting precise project progress and revenue recognition.

• Liaise with Thailand office for Thailand Telecom business and follow up on financial documentation

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries and accruals are posted accurately and on time.

• Review account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the General Ledger.

• Conduct LY-vs-actual analysis and provide insights into financial trends for management.

• Support Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned

Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

• Assist FM to coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely and efficient audit processes.

• Assist FM to develop and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., JSOX).

Supervision & Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members, setting performance goals and conducting reviews.

• Review and approve entries made by junior staff to ensure accuracy before final posting.

• Identify and lead initiatives to automate workflows and enhance accounting system efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior-level role.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300) and advanced MS Excel skills
