About the Role
We are seeking a high-performance Semiconductor Sales Manager with a strong hunter mindset to drive new business development and regional revenue growth across Singapore and international markets.
This role is focused on proactive customer acquisition and full-cycle B2B sales within the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for building new accounts from scratch, developing global customer relationships, and driving revenue through complex technical sales cycles.
You will engage with semiconductor fabs, EMS/OEM companies, automation equipment manufacturers, tier-1 suppliers, and other industrial customers. The role requires strong capability in technical sales, business development, and stakeholder management in engineering-driven environments.
Key responsibilities
Develop new semiconductor and electronics manufacturing customers from scratch
Drive full-cycle B2B sales including lead generation, technical discussions, RFQ handling, negotiation, and closing
Conduct proactive outbound sales activities daily including cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and onsite customer visits
Build and manage relationships with semiconductor fabs, EMS/OEM companies, automation equipment manufacturers, tier-1 suppliers, and global customers
Understand customer manufacturing processes and translate them into technical and commercial opportunities
Work closely with engineering, costing, and product teams to deliver competitive and technically sound solutions
Review RFQs, technical drawings, DFM requirements, and equipment specifications
Identify and develop new market opportunities in Singapore and overseas (Asia, US, Europe)
Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Business, or a related field
Min. 6 years of B2B technical sales experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation, or industrial equipment industries, with a proven track record in new business development (hunter sales role)
Experience in engineering-driven, complex, and long-cycle sales environments, particularly RFQ-based and project-based sales processes
Strong ability to engage engineers, procurement teams, and senior management, with the capability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing processes, and product requirements
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills, with a highly self-driven, disciplined, and performance-oriented mindset
Experience in semiconductor equipment, EMS, automation, or industrial sales environments will be highly advantageous
Exposure to major semiconductor ecosystem companies and international customers across Asia, US, or Europe will be an added advantage
Experience collaborating with engineering or technical product teams is preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and structured pipeline management is an advantage
Multilingual ability is a plus
