Overview:
The Security Supervisor oversees dormitory security operations and serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for incidents and emergencies. The role ensures the safety, security, and well-being of residents while supervising outsourced security personnel and coordinating effectively with operations and emergency response teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage security officers, ensuring discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Oversee access control for residents, visitors, and vehicles, enforcing dormitory rules.
• Ensure regular patrols and surprise checks are conducted to maintain safety, order, and compliance.
• Act as the first point of contact for emergencies, including medical, fire, security, and other incidents.
• Identify, report, and follow up on security, safety, or maintenance issues within the dormitory.
• Assist with after-hours resident check-in/check-out, Pass Office issues, and liaise with management as needed.
• Monitor CCTV systems, guide and train security officers, and participate in company briefings and training programs.

Requirements:

• Valid PLRD Security Supervisor licence.
• Valid Class 3 or Class 3A driving licence and willing to drive company vehicle.
• Able and willing to work full-time on the night shift, on an alternate 5-day and 6-day work week.
• Preferably with experience in dormitory, property, township, or facilities operations.
• Fire Safety certification will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with migrant workers and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) for work-related communication. Ability to communicate in additional languages such as Tamil, Bengali, or Mandarin is an advantage to support effective communication with dormitory residents from diverse backgrounds.
