Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and personable Admissions Officer to join our team. As the first point of contact for prospective families, you will play a vital role in managing the student recruitment pipeline and ensuring a seamless enrollment experience. The ideal candidate is a master of first impressions, highly organized, and passionate about educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inquiry & Lead Management

  • Promptly respond to all inquiries (email, phone, and walk-ins), providing accurate and inspiring information about the school’s curriculum and community.

  • Maintain the Admissions Database, ensuring all prospective student data is captured accurately for the enrollment funnel.

  • Nurture leads by maintaining consistent contact with families and inviting them to school tours, open houses, and community events.

2. Admissions Process & Documentation

  • Manage the end-to-end application process, from initial registration to file creation and final placement confirmation.

  • Oversee documentation compliance, ensuring all pupil files, references from previous schools, and medical/legal records are complete and up to date.

  • Liaise with the Finance Department to coordinate application fees, enrollment deposits, and tuition payments.

3. Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Conduct school tours and on-site visits for prospective parents, students, and educational agents.

  • Articulate the school’s mission, admissions philosophy, and academic priorities to diverse stakeholders.

  • Support the Admissions Manager in updating school policies and marketing collateral to reflect current enrollment targets.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 years in School Admissions, Registrar roles, or Customer Service/Front of House environment.

  • Education: Diploma in Communications, Business, Education, or a related field.

  • Tech Savvy: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) , Google Apps

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak with confidence and empathy.

  • Soft Skills: A organised, cheerful, "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining a dedicated team player.
