Architecture & Design Leadership

• Define and own the global reference architecture for Reporting for BW/4HANA, SAC, and Fiori, including data modeling strategy (InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, CDS Views, HANA Calculation Views), SAC data modeling (models, stories, analytic applications, planning), and Fiori UX strategy (Fiori Elements, Freestyle, Launchpad configuration, custom apps, and theming).
• Lead solution and design for Reporting across the platforms as per the business requirements. 
• Ensure best-practice design for real-time data replication (SLT, ODP), data federation, near-zero latency analytics, and secure data exposure to SAC and Fiori.

Program & Track Leadership

• Lead the BW/4HANA–SAC–Fiori workstream for multiple global programs (typically 3–5 active projects).
• Drive regional deployment strategy: design global template → regional localization → cutover & go-live execution across APAC, Europe, Oceania and other geographies.
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies with S/4HANA, Finance, Supply Chain, and other module teams.
• Act as the primary escalation point for architecture, performance, and integration issues during build, test, and hypercare phases.

Subject Matter Expertise & Delivery Excellence

• Serve as the go-to SME for complex topics: BW/4HANA migration (from BW 7.x), HANA sizing & performance tuning, SAC capacity planning & live connections vs. import, Fiori security (PFCG + IAM), embedded analytics, and SAP BTP integration.
• Enforce global standards while accommodating regional requirements (data residency, GDPR/CCPA, multi-currency, multi-language, statutory reporting).
• Conduct quality gates, design reviews, and code/architecture audits across all projects.
• Mentor and upskill onshore/offshore delivery teams (architects, developers, functional consultants).

Stakeholder & Governance

• Present architecture decisions and roadmap to Program-level stakeholders, Global Process Owners, and Regional IT Leads.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Basis, Security, BTP, and Integration architects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the global SAP CoE standards, reusable assets, and accelerators.

The Pre-requisite
Minimum 12+ years of SAP BW & SAC experience, with at least 6 years focused on SAC & BW/4HANA (mandatory).

Strong hands-on expertise in:

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – modeling, planning, predictive, data wrangling, and integration with BW/4HANA & S/4HANA.
• SAP Fiori – full lifecycle (design, development, customization, Fiori Elements, OData services, Launchpad configuration).

Proven leadership of the BW/4HANA–SAC–Fiori track in minimum 4 global multi-region SAP programs(S/4HANA or BW/4HANA implementations) with successful regional deployments.

• Deep knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, agile delivery, and DevOps practices (CI/CD for SAP).
• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, and modern integration patterns (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security (S/4HANA & SAC), and performance optimization at enterprise scale.

Certifications (highly preferred):

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BW/4HANA
• SAP Certified Application Professional – SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori
• SAP S/4HANA or BTP certifications are a plus
