Job Summary

Promote and sell the organization’s products and services within assigned territories and customer accounts, driving revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets through strategic customer engagement and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by promoting and selling products and services within assigned geographic areas, product ranges, or customer accounts to achieve or surpass revenue targets
• Pursue and qualify sales leads by visiting existing and new customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate products and services
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries to enhance customer satisfaction and support sales closure
• Negotiate prices and delivery schedules within authorized limits to finalize sales orders that meet revenue objectives
• Identify and research prospective customers to build and maintain positive relationships that foster repeat business and future sales opportunities
• Communicate sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity insights to relevant internal teams to enable responsive market strategies
• Develop and implement annual, monthly, weekly, and daily sales plans by prioritizing and scheduling activities to consistently meet sales targets

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in Japanese language to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders
• Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within the FMCG sector to understand product logistics and customer requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Marketing and sales skills relevant to promoting and selling products effectively
• Knowledge of the products sold by the organization to provide accurate and persuasive customer recommendations
