Sales Consultant

Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 Basic + Attractive Commission Scheme

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions.

You will be responsible for engaging walk-in customers, managing enquiries, building relationships with industry partners, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage walk-in customers and provide professional consultation based on their requirements.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, interior designers, and business partners.
• Follow up on enquiries and leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Prepare quotations and provide timely responses to customer enquiries.
• Achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
• Ensure showroom displays are well-maintained and presentable.
• Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, showroom sales, customer service, or related fields.
• Experience in home improvement, renovation, furniture, lighting, sanitary ware, interior products, consumer electronics, or related industries will be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven and commission-based environment.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in spoken English; ability to communicate in additional languages or dialects will be advantageous for customer engagement.
• Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
