Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and onboard prospective corporate, institutional, and professional clients.
- Understand client objectives, trading strategies, and operational needs to provide tailored fintech and financial market solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor by recommending appropriate products, platforms, and services (e.g., derivatives, FX, trading infrastructure).
- Execute targeted sales strategies to drive revenue growth across fintech and capital markets offerings.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches, product demonstrations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with senior sales and partners to penetrate new markets and client segments.
- Conduct preliminary KYC (Know-Your-Client) checks and manage onboarding documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and ongoing support.
- Address client enquiries and coordinate with internal teams (operations, compliance, technology) to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up to date with financial markets, fintech developments, and competitor offerings.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across products and services.
- Provide client feedback and market insights to enhance service offerings and sales strategies.
- Work closely with marketing to co-develop sales materials, campaigns, and thought leadership content.
- Use CRM systems to track pipeline activity, client interactions, and sales performance.
- Contribute to internal discussions aimed at improving sales processes, client experience, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, revenue, and client engagement metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or front-office roles within financial services, fintech, or capital markets.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and markets such as Derivatives (Futures & Options), Foreign exchange (FX), Electronic trading platforms and Fintech solutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg or similar market data platforms is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong consultative selling and client engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and client data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Highly driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
- Interest in fintech innovation and how technology is reshaping financial markets
- Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to translate complex financial products into clear client value propositions
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to client service
