Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Administrator cum Quantity Surveyor who is both detail-oriented and commercially minded. This dual-role position supports the sales team while managing cost estimation, quotations, and project cost controls from tender stage through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate sales quotations, proposals, and contracts by analyzing client requirements to support successful sales outcomes
- Coordinate communication and workflow between sales, operations, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient order processing
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up to maintain strong customer relationships and support contract administration
- Support tender submissions by compiling required documentation and verifying compliance with tender specifications
- Develop detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project budgets to enable effective financial planning and control
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project requirements and cost implications
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic accounting software such as Quickbooks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or logistics, preferably within electronics, lighting, or technical product sectors
- Strong coordination and multitasking skills demonstrated through managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills combined with a positive learning attitude to adapt and grow within the role
