🔍 Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time WSHO who also holds a valid Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification, to oversee safety and environmental compliance for a public sector construction project. This dual-role position ensures streamlined site operations and full regulatory coverage under the WSH Act, WSH (Construction) Regulations 2007, and Environmental Public Health Act.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Health (WSHO):

• Implement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Conduct safety inspections and rectify unsafe practices or conditions
• Promote safe work conduct and ensure compliance with WSH legislation
• Be stationed full-time on site throughout the construction period
• Must have completed the Design for Safety Appreciation Course (MOM-accredited)

Environmental Control (ECO):

• Monitor and advise on vector control, pollution mitigation, and site housekeeping
• Conduct regular site checks to ensure hygiene and prevent mosquito/rodent breeding
• Possess a valid Certificate of Competency in Earth Control Measures (ECM)
• Compile and submit environmental data (e.g. water/diesel usage, debris volume)
• Maintain records of NEA/PUB inspections and submit to SO’s Rep upon request

Requirements

• MOM-registered WSHO with valid practicing certificate
• Completed Design for Safety Appreciation Course
• Holds ECO certification and CoC in Earth Control Measures (ECM)
• Prior experience in public sector or HDB projects preferred
• Strong site coordination and reporting skills
