· To maintain safety and health in accordance with WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements.

· Responsible for administration of safety and health records according to the company’s accreditation such as ISO, OSHAS and BizSafe requirements and preparation for audits.

· Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), identification of WSH hazards, implementation of control measures, conduct Safety inspection and Safety committee meetings, update and reviewing of changes.

· To provide technical and professional safety assistance to the site construction management.

· To brief Project Manager or Project Team regularly on the execution status of the overall EHS program.

· To conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare and maintain PTW records.

· Promptly correct any unsafe condition or practice.

· To conduct accident or incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective or preventive actions.

· Recommend Stop Work Order to Project Manager when unsafe conditions arise, including to promptly correcting any unsafe condition or safe work practice.

· Identify environmental health irregularities and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities.

· Inspect site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working conditions and do not pose any environmental health hazard.

· Participate as a risk management team member in the site RM organization.

· Participate in risk assessment activities for site.

· Any other duties as may be assigned.
