Job Summary

Support operational excellence by conducting safety inspections, managing compliance documentation, and facilitating communication to uphold workplace safety and health standards in engineering site activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections to verify site activities comply with workplace safety regulations and standards
• Monitor and enforce worker adherence to safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure compliance with safety requirements
• Prepare detailed reports for ISO audits, BIZSAFE audits, and risk assessments to support regulatory compliance
• Lead toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and updates to workers effectively
• Manage and organize all documentation, permits, and licenses required for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance
• Maintain accurate records of all workplace safety, health, and environmental control documentation required by authorities and management
• Participate in daily administrative tasks supporting operations and site activities to ensure smooth workflow
• Execute other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operational and safety objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin and English to communicate effectively in a bilingual work environment
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health or NITEC in Engineering (Environment, Health, Safety) or a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in workplace safety and health or related engineering roles
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, health, and environmental safety standards
• Strong initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in semiconductor factory-related engineering environments
