Job Summary

Join our harbourcraft operations team with no prior experience needed. Receive training and progress through roles from Trainee to Certified Rigger and Steersman, gaining marine operational skills and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform marine cargo lifting operations from jetty to vessel to ensure safe and efficient transfers
• Support anchorage and harbourcraft operations by assisting with vessel movements and operational tasks
• Operate onboard harbourcraft during marine operations to maintain smooth and safe workflows
• Carry out general marine operational duties to support daily harbourcraft activities
• Participate actively in on-the-job training to develop rigging and marine operational skills
• Obtain rigging certification to advance to Certified Rigger role and contribute to anchorage lifting tasks
• Demonstrate responsibility and willingness to learn to progress through career stages and certification pathways
• Adapt to irregular hours and shift work to meet operational demands in the marine environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Willingness to work irregular hours and shifts to support marine operations
• Comfortable working in marine and anchorage environments to perform operational duties safely

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Rigging certification (obtained during Phase 2 training) to perform anchorage lifting and marine support tasks
• Steersman or marine certification (company-sponsored after 1 year and good performance) to take on advanced operational responsibilities
